Edward stars in the leading role of Dave, our teen protagonist, who finds himself on the adventure of a lifetime.
Edward Pritchard is a professional actor, musician and filmmaker from Northamptonshire, England. He is currently pursuing his MFA at the Actors Studio Drama School in New York. Escape 2120 will be his feature film debut. Working all over the US, he has had lead roles in various dramatic and comedic indie films including an award winning Monty Python style spoof set in a Game of Thrones World.
On stage, he has specialized in comedic leads including the Neil Simon farce, “Rumors” and Demetrius in “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”. He is also a comedic improviser with three years of performance experience. As well as acting, Edward has been classically trained as a tenor under the tutelage of renowned soprano Ilana Lubitsch and has over ten years experience playing guitar, including professionally in the rock band, “Susie and the Gents”. In 2019, he created an award winning cartoon in which he co-starred with Paul Kandarian who plays “Doc” in Escape 2120.
Samantha stars as Nalia, the strong-minded young woman who introduces Dave to the culture of the distant future.
Samantha Ipema is currently studying at the Stella Adler Conservatory. She has a broad range of performances on stage and television, including a feature as Bartender on the FOX hit Empire.
Rosie stars as Dr. Sally Rupert, the adventurous scientist who recruits Dave to help her disappear into the future with her quirky husband.
Rosie is a Boston/NY/Florida actor/host/writer known for many works. Among winning as part of Best Cast at the LA Web Festival for Girl in the Attic, appearing in Castle Rock, and Woody Allen’s Irrational Man, she premiered her short film, Dark Light of Day, at the Rhode Island International Film Festival in 2017, the only oscar-qualifying festival in New England. She also garnered a Best Supporting Actress nomination at the Oniros Film Awards in Italy for that film as well. Always the advocate, she founded the New England Kids Actors Group in 2012 – a go-to resource for the parents of child actors, both newbie and veterans alike, with over 1500 members. She is a contributing writer for Motif Magazine in RI and Imagine Magazine in Boston, appearing on that cover in Nov. of ’15. She is hard at work on her second screenplay, a feature film about “finding the one”, and she hopes to see you on set soon.
Paul stars as Dr. Jarvis “Doc” Rupert, the quirky scientist who invents a revolutionary suspended animation device that will open the door to the year 2120.
Paul Kandarian is an actor from Boston who has done a wide range of work, including dozens of plays, and TV shows (The History Channel, Hulu), independent movies, shorts and features, international films (German Network TV), national and regional commercials, as well as corporate, industrial and educational videos for hospitals, Internet business sites and workplace compliance programs. He has played everything from serial killers to grandfathers to millionaires and enjoys every single opportunity, and is most proud of his work with a nonprofit that raises awareness of and the stigma from the disease of addiction, Creating Outreach About Addiction Support Together.
David stars as Samuel, the deceptive official with a personal vendetta against our time traveling hero.
Rising film actor and comedian David Afflick got the acting bug in 2011 when he auditioned and landed the role in his breakthrough debut performance as Dr. Sanderson, in the classic play, Harvey. Since then, the versatile actor has been steadily working on stage and screen, TV, commercials; doing stand-up, sketch and improv comedy, emceeing, screenwriting; as well as training with renown acting teachers throughout the Northeast and NYC.
